Be it drizzling or sizzling, Bolton NEWT are not put off by the weather and we were out on Leverhulme park again today. More willow needed clearing and and silly from the pond needed dragging out.
We were joined by Tracy and also 5-year old Sabrina and her mum Sue. We added to the dead hedge and now both sides are looking fabulous.
We all did sterling work and Sabrina surprised herself with her own strength!
In the afternoon we built a bridge over some water into the pond area and Rachel and Mike joined us. They offered us some wood chippings for the bridge and brought coffee and hot chocolate. All gratefully received. Thank you!!
Sabrina even spied a frog or three. What else will come and live there, now it's developing into a lovely habitat.
