Do What You Want, Cause A Pirate Is Free

Back in August 2025, Newt's Pirate Ship was looking worse for wear, with rotting planks and in need of a new frame, we decided to rebuild the ship from scratch by removing the boards and creating a brand new frame.

Not content with this, we decided to expand and create a brand new decking around the ship and expand this even further with a new addition of a climbing frame for the skeletons that also doubled as a cover for our projector in Halloween. A massive thank you goes out to Taylor's Academy for donating wood from the 1930's building, incredibly the hardwood we used was over 150 year's old, which means the trees began to grow as saplings in 1780.

Thanks goes out to Frankie, Becky and David for their support in rebuilding this monster project, the finished project now means we have a giant Pirate Ship playhouse for the kids and a fantastic prop for Halloween for our Pirate Captains, we look forward to you all seeing it this Halloween on Friday the 31st between 6:30pm/7:15pm and then Saturday 1st is our Halloween Spooktacular between 6:00pm/8:00pm.
