Bolton NEWT were out on Leverhulme Park today, planting new hedgerows of trees for everyone to enjoy. The species planted are dogwood, dogrose, hazel, crab apple and hawthorn. The hedgerow itself will provide a habit for the wildlife on the park and the berries and nuts produced will provide a source of food. It is well know that trees also sustain the wellbeing of humans and we are eternally grateful for replenishing effects. Alex, Adele, Chris, Gavin and Jasmine all enjoyed being out in the open air once more, caring for our wonderful park.
