The Seven Acres Squad revitalized the prominence by removing scrubby growth and small trees. This work also included silt removal from the scrapes and our standard litter picking.
Pond revival at Thicketford Brow Field

The Seven Acres Squad revitalized the pond by coppicing over hanging branches, reinforcing the southern side of the pond and digging out the sludge that has accumulated over the years.

Seven Acres Country Park is, despite what its nineteenth-century name implies, a 15-acre (61,000 m2) Local Nature Reserve.
It lies between the areas of Tonge and Breightmet, and is dissected by
Bradshaw Brook.
Seven Acres Country Park is more than 300 years old, and is depicted on maps dating back to at least 1764
