The three nights of Halloween started with a Saturday Broom making event, willow harvested from Leverhulme Park turned into functioning real brooms with free hot chocolate, a nice event with 50 people attending during the day. Then came our big Halloween Spooktacular, 140 hotdogs handed out, 150 hot chocolate, 140 wands given out that glowed in the dark once they had been put in the goblins mouth, Reece, Brad, Jenson, Carter, Jack, Riely taking turns in the dinosaur costumes

One of the biggest questions we hear from the public for our Halloween events "Is this on again tomorrow?". We thought it would be nice to make a blog to highlight the extent of work that goes on behind the scenes by volunteers to plan and prepare for the three free nights of Halloween. Earlier this year we attended 'Pitch for the Planet' an opportunity to pitch a meaningful environmental action, we proposed installing four Kingfisher nesting boxes to help support our local wildlife in the East of Bolton, we had been successful coming 7th of 8 funded projects. We had to wait until we had been outside of the breeding period for Kingfishers, with our first box installed on Sunday 20th September at Bradshaw Brook, watch the video below.
